    i haven't tried freesync ( nvidia fanboy lol) but i cant tell you gaming is very good on this monitor . backlight bleed is minimal ( a little bleed if you crack up the brightness) .. the only bad thing is the coating use on this panel i find that it makes the white color looks grainy

    Contrast is really good on this monitor and colors look natural i compare it to my Samsung JS8500 4k tv and this lg monitor colors look more real ( on the tv colors looks more saturated)
