    You're not imaging it. If it's HD4000 over hdmi, you should make those changes as well - just not sure if it's the same way to do that.

    Go to http://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-s2740l and check that "how to fix nvidia hdmi colour issues" movie. Perhaps that's the reason the black levels on your monitor look washed out.

    Just took a video (with my phone, iso set to 400) of my monitor and I can clearly see those horizontal lines going up and down. It doesn't look too agressive, but I guess it's a matter of a proper equipment which I don't have. Anyway, is it a proof of my monitor using PWM or should I check it...

    Is there any other way than using a camera to check if my monitor has PWM ? If it does then it's not a problem for me, but I want to be sure before buying the S2440L. The monitor I'm talking about is LG W2284F (LCD).

    Yeah, please do upload more photos. Also, how bright was your room on the first two photos ? I know that reflection of the window behind you looks awful, but other than that it's not that bad

    If it's so bad that you can't stand it then perhaps the monitor is damaged in some way or something. All reviews say it's PWM free. Call Dell and ask if they could replace it or something.

    For me the main problem with reflections is that it can damage your eyes after some time. I already wear glasses and I wouldn't want my sight defect to get even worse.
