    PCIE 3.0 GPU on a PCIE 1.0 motherboard?

    I remember an issue with 57xx ati card and pci-e 1.0 back when i wanted to upgrade my card from a 4850. In the end i bought a 6850 that worked in pci-e 1.0 before i upgraded to my current rig so i dont think you should have any issues with a 7770.

    Wow. My 660ti comes in tomorrow, but if the 7850 was $190 at the time i purchased it, I would've probably purchased that without giving it a 2nd thought. I think I'll build a lower-end rig and use a 7850 with it later this year. =)
