The order # and customer # was in the blue paper that accompanied the Shipment. It was from Dell and said "Not an Invoice"

For the warranty I associated the order number (available on the Receipt) to my Dell account. Also added the Service Tag (back of monitor) to my account
However when I accessed my account the warranty was not not shown (contract type = NC).
I called Dell and gave them the details. Told...
I got mine (3008wfp) very quickly (withing 4 days. Overnight shipping). Monitor is like new. No cables however.

For less expensive PCs Dell and especially Dell Outlet are very attractive. You get regular coupons (15%) when you sign up and that helps.
Dell Outlet small business also has US based support, 3 years warranty and Dell does put high end components in its Precision line.
