Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm having a problem with my new monitor - a Sceptre x22wg-1080p (hooked up to the DVI port, of course). I used the nVidia Control Panel (158.18) to adjust the brightness/contrast/gamma, but when the monitor turns off, the settings are lost when it comes back on. This happens when I shut down...
This is the line that gets me:
Right. And once this money is in the general budget, do you think they'll put it back the next year?
But at least they're prosecuting those evil, hard-bitten criminal scum before they start robbing liquor stores.
Ah, but the 22" monitors are actually 16:10, not 16:9. The screen area of a 22" 16:10 monitor is 217 sq in, which is in fact larger than the 21" 4:3. Actually, I think the monitor size is 20.1", not 21", and that's just 193 sq in.
But remember - if you're watching a movie, the 4:3 monitor...
I haven't had many positive experiences with CC either. Yesterday I stopped in to see if they had any 22" monitors so I could see them in person. They had three - a ViewSonic, the Samsung 226BW, and the w2207. At first glance, the w2207 looked absolutely horrible compared to the other two. I had...
It's this Ergotron Neo-Flex LCD Stand:

(item# 619234 if the link doesn't work)
Looks like it doesn't handle heavy monitors because it's not attached to the desk - but a 20" should be small enough.
Sorry, but all 22" monitors, including the Sceptre, are TN panels, not P-MVA. Also, take that contrast ratio with a grain of salt - there's not enough consistency when measuring it to assume it's accurate.
One other thing to keep in mind - if you notice in the reviews, the Sceptre doesn't...
Let me guess - you've got 0401 and you're getting a "downgraded" error? I've read that if you flash to an older BIOS (0202, for example), you can then flash to the newest one.
Also check out the EVGA 650i Ultra - it's about $100, so if you don't need the second video card slot, it's a very...
The price difference isn't enough, though. Even the cheapest boards with S/PDIF are over $50, and the sound quality of those cheap ones is probably much worse than the onboard sound. The cheapest X-Fi card with S/PDIF out is $100. There are plenty of boards for $50 more than this one that have...
