Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I need to prevent users of publicly accessed computer from modifying the OS and accessing e-mail and restricted web sites. What do you guys recomend for XP home?

I need a 975x mobo that will run the secondary PCI-E slot at full 16X. Only one 7900GTX card will be used but I need to locate it in the PCI-E x16 slot that is farthest away from the CPU. All of the mobos that I have seen run that slot at 8x even with only one card except the DFI Infinity 975X...
The Areca ARC-1170 controller would report a drive as missing and a second later it would reappear. So, combining the 4 12V rails into one should be OK, right?
Noise is also a consideration, the Fortron is virtualy silent. One PS in regular mode is not enough, I am losing drives in the areca Controller, if I combine the 12v rails, it should be OK.
Can you combine the 4 15A rails on the Fortron 700W PS? I am talking soldering the 4 12 rails together to get the maximum amperage out of the unit. I need to power 14 500Gb hard drives, EVGA 7900 GTX, two optical drives and a 2.8 P4 with two Fortron 700W power supplies. Thanks in advance.
