    Spray painting rad bad idea?

Bill's right. Professionally painted rads have barely any paint down in between the fins. But they're painted everywhere else because they look pretty ugly out of manufacturing otherwise. Besides, everyone knows spray painting something red makes it go faster! ;) Tim

Koolance COV-RP400 Pump and Res Combination ?

The D-5 is a very reliable pump, more so than the DDC. If you're in critical need of a backup, I would keep a new D-5 on hand rather than running it in tandem. Temp sensors on our controllers or via BIOS, or a flow meter are already good safety features to shutdown the system if the pump dies...

I think some might be hesitant to do this because it increases height of the reservoir, and they might want to select a nozzle base and reservoir from two different manufacturers (which probably won't work together). Otherwise, it...

Koolance In Line Filter...is it worth it?

This is actually a pretty accurate example. We've also seen 3rd-party pumps and rads with manufacturing debris and miscellaneous "plastic bits" which have physically stopped pumps. The filter is intended for those situations. It is not intended to filter biological contaminants or other fine...

    Koolance plate heatexchangers

(?) We sell both aluminum and copper radiators in every size on our website. In fact, we offer more copper versions than aluminum (optimized for both low and high air flow). If you purchase a pre-built system like the Exos or ERM, you should definitely not mix bare copper in the loop. Copper rad...

    Koolance plate heatexchangers

You might be surprised. We have heat transfer and pressure drop data available under the "Other Data" buttons on those products' web pages. Plate heat exchangers are definitely for specific applications. For example, you could use tap water on the external loop without worrying about causing...
