    I have the same issue, only I'm using Comodo Internet Security instead of Avast. My 1080 is constantly ramping up to 25% power and 1709 core clock for no apparent reason. Closing Comodo doesn't stop it. Is there some kind of utility I can run to tell me what in the world is fucking with my gpu?
