Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have the same issue, only I'm using Comodo Internet Security instead of Avast. My 1080 is constantly ramping up to 25% power and 1709 core clock for no apparent reason. Closing Comodo doesn't stop it.
Is there some kind of utility I can run to tell me what in the world is fucking with my gpu?
The EVGA Hybrid card is going to have the same custom PCB and power phases as their FTW card. They mentioned that on the forums and were met with a chorus of people bitching that it won't fit in the Ncase m1 because the 1080 FTW card is wider than usual.
I ordered an EVGA 1080 SC from Newegg (it was in stock for about 5 minutes) nearly 2 weeks ago and after being in order verification for several days, it went on hold until they concluded their semi-annual inventory. After inventory was concluded and the order was finally "shipped", it still...
I've been eyeing an Acer Predator XB271HU but I wonder how good the warranty service on their monitors is if I have any problems down the road. Anyone here have carnal knowledge of that? I remember getting fucked on the warranty for one of their laptops once, years ago.
I've used a few low profile EVGA GT 710 and GT 730 cards and thought they were very quiet at load.

Seeing as how this review does not directly compare the temp/noise of the FTW vs the SC/ACX/FE, it is pretty much useless to me. I was interested in knowing what the larger heatsink and fan does for temps vs noise and I'm still in the dark. Shit, they don't even look at the fan speed vs noise...
I came back to post that I originally purchased a SX500-LG for my M1 build and returned it because the form factor was annoying (the cables were pushing against my gpu backplate) and it was way too loud (coil whine, fan clicking, etc). I received my SF600 and I am enormously pleased with it -...
I see you said you were waiting on the M1's next production run. I have one that I just did a build in (I received the case earlier this month, still have the box and accessories), but my motherboard was defective and I'm returning it, in addition to my needs changing so I'm thinking of...
I've been going back and forth over this in my head for a few days, I need somebody to be a tie-breaker to stop me from overthinking and flip-flopping. I'm ordering hardware for my 2nd M1 build shortly and I can't decide which cpu cooler I want to get.
I'm going to have two 120x120x25mm...
After lurking for many years, I registered just for this post: if you make a mATX case that is as versatile and well designed as the M1 (I just bought my 2nd one recently), I guarantee I'll buy that too :)
