    Be nice to update Page 1 of the Review, just came across this as I was toying with the idea of switching over to a PLX enabled Z97 mobo to get SLI 1080's and thought this board fit the bill as it had PLX and the right price. Almost bid on it till I double checked the PLX support elsewhere!

    Its not possible for it to be as sharp as a native 1440p monitor and even less possible to be has sharp as native monitor about 50% smaller. Its quite good looking though at 1440 (like SMAA is on everything), tested it by typing this. Why would you want to run 1440p on a 4k though?

    Yes, though I only noticed ghosting type artifacts and only then most noticeable when cold and on contrasting colours. With 100% brightness I tweaked it in NV Control Panel to: 25% Brightness 60% Contrast 1 Gamma 75% Digital Vibrance Looks good though Id like to know what others did too.

    Nope. You can send it upto 80hz over 1080p but the panel drops frames which I confirmed with my camera. It looks like 2 frames dropped over the 1/5sec exposure time. Which presumeably make it pointless to push more Hz to it. I checked and it does the same at every freq. over 60Hz. Ghosting...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

    Presumably to create a more cinematic 21:9 type display and get a boost in FPS while still being slightly larger than the 34" 1440p displays out there. Its the new thing for 4k users apparently! I'm actually trying to ditch my 34" LG UC97 and do the opposite!

    Does such a thing exist yet? Even ignoring the 4:4:4 chroma requirement? The Crossover 44k should have been this but no confirmation it support 120/144hz at any res yet. The Vizio screens do this at 50"+ only but I want to use this as a (gaming) display and thats too big.
