    Yeah, you're right, but it seems that it was more of an example. Most people would surely upgrade by the time any processor is anywhere near its end-of-life.

    In a manner of speaking. The computers that were being sold with Vista based around a hyperthreading Pentium 4 were lucky enough to even get into windows, let alone actually make a useful computer :P

    That is impressive, to get your computer to boot at all at 5.1 ghz. My 2500k won't boot past like, 4.5gHz. Well frankly, that was the case for a few windows editions in the past decade and a half. EDIT. Btw, what chipset is used mostly for getting that high? I'm on z77.
