    8500GT 1GB can play 1080p?

    8MB of ram is enough for a 1920x1080@32bpp frame buffer. Of course if you need to use the shader engine and some buffers you'll need some extra ram. Heck probably 64MB would be enough if all you were going to do was HTPC decoding.

    GET SOME CASE FANS!!! Also you don't need 220/240mm case fans. A single 120mm exhaust fan would be of great help. Just get something in there. My 8800GT idles @ 45C in my X-QPACK. I run it at 50% fan. 75% when it hits 75C & %100 if it hits 85C. Rarely does it go above 70C when playing...
