dbx,
Yeah I have two of Caviar Blacks 1TB mounted the same way, and temps read about the same as yours. My room temperature is anywhere from 21c to 27c, and HDDs' temps tend to fluctuate accordingly.
Let me throw another question though. I have an i5 2500K installed, and the core 0 is...

I totally agree with you on SATA cable holes. At least your SATA ports are facing down toward the bottom of the case (which mobo is that btw? I see it's an ASUS. Mine is H67M-Pro). Mine are facing toward the side panel, plus 6 ports are oriented in such a way that if I used 90-degree...
I had that noise too when I used my headphones. I figured this is the noise people talk about when use on-board soundcard so I just went ahead and used optical connection directly hooked up to my receiver.
It would be great if there's a permanent solution because I don't feel like getting...
If you don't mind, did you manage to put the side panel back on this side? For some reason, mine doesn't go back on there anymore....It's either cables or HDD that's just bulging too much that plastic air vent popped out, and I still couldn't get the panel on.
I like how setups for this case...

Oh alright, sounds like I already have to part my build then....fun stuff. I never thought about grounding effects of anything on a computer, but now you said it, it makes sense:p
And if I'm parting it all out, I might as well push all those hooks on I/O panel inward too...
Thanks for...
That's exactly what I thought I forgot to put on after reading the case's instruction manual...
What do you mean I would get a plastic BBQ if I don't have these on? Are they meant to keep the mobo's heat from the case or something?
This also sounds dumb too, but I really didn't know what...

No, I did not mount any drive. I just let a DVD-R disk pass through that slot on the front panel out of curiosity, because I saw that brush-like material glued(?) onto it.
When I inserted it fully and pulled it back, I saw numerous scratches on the surface of disk.
So I've finally got to build this thing over the weekend. For a first-timer (I know, I keep saying this), it wasn't tough to work on at all, probably because I drooled on this and a whole bunch of websites to imagine myself doing it....
Anyhow, here are a couple of things that I noticed while...
Finally received this case yesterday. Can't wait til the weekend to build my first rig!
My first impression on this case though, is that it's smaller than I anticipated. Heck, I might even be able to fit the whole system in a regular size suitcase and travel abroad (which I do rather...
So I just received my H60 and put it on motherboard. Now I understand what you were saying about the power wires. How/where did you re-route them? Inside the 4 screws that are holding the bracket on the motherboard?
I also noticed that when you put the pump over the CPU, the Corsair logo...
This must be the most useful information I got to hear in a while...thanks. Now I know a bit of research on Egg will reveal, but does H60 come with fans? I still haven't quite figured out why it costs $20-30 less than H70.
Either way I think I'm going with H60. Thanks once again.
Yeah I was thinking about getting one too, but then after reading so many reviews, Frio topped H70 in terms of performance, but not the noise. Since I am not overclocking this computer and primarily using it for HTPC purposes, I may not need the Frio. I just wanted to make my rig a bit...
Can I jump on this discussion regarding certain coolers (not) fitting the case?
I have an Asus P8H67-M Pro, and bought G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB. I'm wondering if I could still install a Themaltake Frio, which has a dimension of 165x139x98 (Heatsink).
FT03's cooler clearance being...
