    Yea sounds normal to me too. I think the quads would really be best paired with some good water cooling, especially if you plan to OC a whole lot. Then you can really help them live up to thier potential :D

    E6850 on Ultra-120 Extreme

    Have you thought about doing a lapping job on the cooler at all? I know the extremes are doing really well, but I know mine was convex as heck. Took me a whole sheet of 220 grit sandpaper just to flatten it, but it dropped my temps by 4c. not too shabby.

    What bad things have you heard about tank guys? :confused: I'm personally skipping this round of upgrades and waiting on the penryn(spelling?) launch - but if I were, I'm not sure where I'd buy a G0, seems there's pros and cons with every option.

    That could be. I've only got 512 meg of PC2100 or whatever is in those Dells we've got. Plus I'm running 4 monitors, so that doesn't help.

I have HT on my work computer, where I run like 13 programs at once and it's still pretty sluggish... but then 13 programs at once might not be all that normal, since I run Access, a couple copies of Excel, Firefox, IE, and some other assorted...

    I've worked with tankguys too, they're new but they're a good company. I've ordered a few things from them, and have had really good luck, and I've heard some other people say the same thing on other forums.
