Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I mostly watch anime, game, and do a bit of web design(which sRGB is perfect for). After using a TN panel for a few years, I honestly don't feel much of a difference in terms of input lag(I current play CoD4 as far as FPS are concerned).

I mean hopefully IPS monitors will have the same or better quality than the 2490 AND have little to no input lag as well as <5ms response time. Seems like all the IPS monitors have their faults. Most of them don't have a A-TW Polarizer.
I was playing my friend's new Samsung T240HD, and did not notice any input lag honestly. This monitor has more input lag than the 2490wuxi.
Below is the 2690wuxi, but it has similar input lag to the 2490wuxi. (Look up delay compared to CRT)...
