Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
how does the flight sim know what button is pressed, or control is used?? Is there some interface you need for that? Just wounder because i find it hard to see how it knows that.

One of the companies we supply systems to, will not buy from us, unless they know we are esd protected. They do military radar and comunication systems, and they cannot aford a production system to go down.

All I can say is that I am glad that everyone knows that staic is all around, and not always felt or seen.
Whoevery uses the power cord as ground, must be useing an old at powersupply to power their system, because they give a true case...
A few things to make you think.
All parts are shipped in antistatic bags. Why is that??
A part cost you x dollars, but you will subject it to being useless by not using proper percautions of grounding. Why?
a cheap strap cost 5 bucks, but will help save you much more than that.
Why...
If you dont use a starp, you could still damage something that may not showup right away. Some parts can be zapped, but show no signs till latter on. It could also shorten the life of the parts.
Also by touching the case does not me you are ground, it just means you are at or near the same...
I have been in service about 10 years or more. I find that the best way to get all the tools you want is to start out with a basic set, but a large case. You can add on as you go. There is always a new tool, device or something out.
The basics is, screwdrives - different sizes, pliers -...
