    I was planning on picking one up this week. I have a Samsung Gear VR for my s7 edge and I found some pretty entertaining things on their store. Are there not a lot of store options inside the daydream yet?

    I do find it odd some of you are waiting 1 month + to even receive shipped notifications. I picked mine up in store since I have Verizon. Atleast none of them have burnt any houses down......yet.

    To try and put it simply : When you are, say, in your garage on GTA V for instance, your CPU will throttle down to the amount that is need. When driving through the city it may throttle up to 4 GHZ because that is what is needed. Its possible your cpu could throttle down just when stopping...

    Just my quick 2 cents... Ive used nothing over the years but Samsung all the way from the S3 release to my Note 7 (yes, I know, OMG FIRE). I have had every Samsung flagship Verizon carried. After my replacement Note 7 was deemed a hazard, I picked up a Pixel XL and have never been so satisifed...

    CPU Throttling is what it is called I believe. I also think you can turn it off, but not needed in this case.
