Pardon my newbness and a bit of off topicness. Can you please point me in the direction of how you are overclocking the 6950s past 840? Or are you using a 6970 bios?
Flashed both my asus 6950s to the asus unlocked shader 6950 bios. Only running shaders unlocked and core clock at 840 for right now. Things seem to be ok so far. Couple hours worth of gaming in.
Is anyone having problems installing the asus ai suite software on windows 7 64 bit? Every time I run any of the setup files for any of the asus utilities the install crashes with the program not responding window.
I have tried it both from the CD and the download from their site. Same results.
My new build:

Currently downloading games in steam so I can test out this beast.
This could be a huge mess. I don't know if they couldn't get more quantity or didn't think they would sell this many, but I think there are going to be some frustrated folks tomorrow. I hope I'm not one.
I just did a search for crossfire bridge and picked the longest that they had (10cm) from someone that had expedited shipping as an option. I paid right away and still haven't heard anything from them about it, so who knows exactly how expedited it will be. Why don't the cards come with both, MEH.
I went ahead and ordered a pair of 100mm crossfire bridges from ebay since I already have 6950s waiting on this build. Hopefully that is all I need. I think I'm leaning towards the p8p67 deluxe and it has two ports between the pci express slots.
I thought I read that socket 1155 from a cooling mount standpoint would be no different than 1156. Is this true? If so, what heatsink/fan combos do you guys plan on going with? I've been out of the game of building pcs for a bit, so I haven't kept up with this stuff.
