    Well, I currently have a CG246 in my living room as they sent the wrong one out!!! Haven't opened it but the box looks nice and strong if that's any help? Can't really tell about the polarizer though :) Shame they wont let me keep it :( Looks like I'll be waiting for more delivery people...

    Hope i made the right decision then! I guess mostly the nec and eizo are similar 10 or 8bit, 12 or 14 lut is probably just splitting hairs. Just seemed to be more taken with the eizo. Hope the lack of hdmi will not pose a problem in the future though!

    I understood it as dvi would still show adobe rgb gamut but displayport is more about the bit depth. You get the billion colours with display port and 16.7 million with dvi. Although currently my desktop has no monitor so even 1 colour would be nice :p

    I did look into the other 23" colouredge and it is slightly cheaper (around £475 I think). It is an IPS panel, however you would have to pay extra for the monitor (around £75) and extra for the colour navigation software (about £80) to get the full benefits of the LUT hardware calibration...

    As far as I am aware, btw, you cannot use basicolour with any of the european NEC mutlisyncs as their LUT's are locked forcing you to go for sv-monitors... it's different in the US though. Of course they are still marketed as having the 14-LUT of course...:rolleyes:
