I can get either one I just was wondering which everyone here thought was best. I heard some so-so things about the X2 and the X-Finity I just didnt want the watts to help me choose I wanted more info on them both. So the X2 is quieter well thats good all of my psu's so far have been super loud.

OK guys which one would you purchase the Ultra X-Finity 600 watt or the Ultra X2 550 watt?

Well today my boss said he was leaving in 2 months and guess who's the lowest on the totum pole at work yep yours truly so now im worried about spending alot of money on a psu right now so im going to go back to newegg or tigerdirect because I can pay my psu off that way instead of all at once...

Yea I figured the Thermaltake wasn't any good thats the one I have now no wonder its about to break down.

Can anyone tell me what the maximum output of a Thermaltake TR2-430 Watt psu is?

I sure hope so although I usually do pride myself on having a better quality computer than him we kinda try to one up each other when were building our computers lol.

Thanks for the reply wow my friend is not going to be happy to hear that he bought that psu cause he's a gamer he built his own computer guess he shouldn't of gotten that psu huh.

Has anyone heard of Mad Dog power supplies? My friend has one and he's wondering if its a crappy one or not.

I was looking at the Ultra X-Finity 600 watt one from tigerdirect but its refurbished so im not sure if I should take the risk

Geez guys now you've given my upgradeitas lol its what my friends call me when I start getting new parts for my computer I have been itching for a new case for some time now but I love my red Ultra Dragon case.

Ok thanks so much for the help I definitely want the best one that I can afford and like I said I know nothing about the voltages I know the brand names and which ones are the best but after that well thats about it :D

Ok Phantoms YOU RULE! I am going to have to wait on the Hiper for a few days but it says they should be in stock on 4/2/07 but the cooler master looks good to im just taking my time on buying a psu because I want to get the best one I can and both of those look good.

Better places than newegg do tell :) thanks for the replys yea the Rosewill one doesn't look that bad and it wont break the bank the only reason I was looking at newegg and circuit city is because with newegg I am a preferred member and can pay it out and at circuit city its practically free but...

Also circuit city has alot of Antec power supply's and I know that Antec is a good brand I just dont know the difference in them. I would really like buying one from newegg because I always buy things from newegg and their usually cheaper. But I can basically get one from circuit city for free...
