Lian Li PC- Q08 itx case : Specification & Feature

That's an inspiring case very nicely done. I'm getting sick of my little SG05 oven and have been considering one of these.

    old shuttle update?

Just so happens that I'm doing this with a SB86G5M at the moment. You will need a dremel to cut off the old motherboard standoffs and grind them flat (or else they'll short the back of your new itx board). You'll need some of the brass screw in standoffs and a 3mm drill bit i think. To do...

    [YourNewCase] SUGO ... 5! GO!

I shaved off loads of the plastic around the connecter to ease a bending PCB on my build. You can take a fair amount off - just be careful and go slow - making sure you're not leaving any of the wires shorting out. A nice sharp craft knife does the trick but again go careful.

    Passive corsair h50 and core i3 530?

I'd b concerned about using the H50 passively. The loop is narrow and low flow. I think you'd find the heat would build and run away over time - if you think the computer will be used for a hour or so at a time max it maybe ok. I'd monitor it closely and be prepared to have to add a fan. Also...

    Watercooling

Swiftech MCW30 should fit - it comes with wire mounts like the ones used by the stock sink.

    ZOTAC GeForce 9300-ITX WiFi

@ NichoTL I had issues with the adapter loosing connection when left active for a long time - I seemed to have slightly better luck with the wireless driver from VIAs website but the conenction was still flakey. I've now resorted to using a usb dongle until I pick up a wireless n dongle with...

Northbridge Temps on Zotac 9300 ITX

Does anyone know a program that will pick up the sensor in the NB as real temp and hwmonitor don't and I'd like to keep a close eye on it while stressing - at the moment its causing thermal shut downs...

    [YourNewCase] SUGO ... 5! GO!

pulling in from the front of the case - water cooling works best by using cool air from outside of the case rather than warm air from inside it. you can give it a boost by putting another 120mm fan on the otherside of the rad so it runs push-pull (all fans blowing in toward your MB

    [YourNewCase] SUGO ... 5! GO!

Some pics - the SATA cables are only tempoary while I try and find some nice 20cm UV Green cables (that don't seem to exist anywhere right now!) The yellow and black unsleeved wires you can just about see are the power connector for a graphics card (that I can't afford yet) and until I fit it...
