Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I dunno about the "doesn't suck" comment. I mean, I guess I can appreciate that they're breaking things in kind of a cool way. But nothing about this commercial makes me want to buy a PS3, so isn't it still a total failure?

Actually, it appears that there is some sort of petroleum equivalence factor (PEF) included in the calculation. I don't know how they determine that factor, but electricity usage is not ignored.
I agree that 230mpg is pretty simplistic. I think it is a lot more informative to simply state...
Not sure if this has been posted, but here are a few facts from the article on the gm-volt.com fansite:

It'll work the same way it always has. You'll have to schlep down to the local dealership to sign the papers and take ownership. The online transaction just arranges the price and destination.
Maybe eventually they'll bring the vehicle and all the paperwork to your door, but I don't think...
