    E6850 on Ultra-120 Extreme

    Just an FYI small raises my CPU temps about 4-5 degrees higher than large. (more than that at some points) Using large you will actually see your temps drop at times. Small just maxes out the temp and it stays there. Also using small you're more likely to fail if your CPU isn't stable...

    Might want to try CoreTemp .95.4 it shows about 12 - 14 degrees C higher than TAT does for me on my E6850.

    The second slot on the P5B Deluxe is 4x. I tried the GX2 in it anyway and it was definitely at least 50% slower in 3DMark06.

    7950 GX2 - How noisy is it ???

    When the fans are at 100% (when you're first booting up) it's so loud it's stupid but after that I can't hear it over the other fans in my case. Even at load I don't notice it. It's definitely not a silent solution but there isn't any annoying high pitched whine coming from it either...

    I placed my order at 10am pacific but I didn't call them. I don't have any shipping info from them but I didn't get a phonecall or an e-mailing saying it was backordered so I'm hoping it actually ships. I just checked my account and they already charged me so I guess those are all good signs...
