Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
When taxes are at a fifty-year low and you have a multi-trillion dollar debt (much of which is the result of irresponsibly large tax cuts passed under Bush and extended by Obama in the midst of two foreign wars), it's probably ok to have some tax increases on the table.
Your post is pretty irrelevant. The question isn't "Is Facebook going to be a long-term business success?"
Why so resistant to the idea that low cost communication between huge numbers of people might have some effect on how easy it is for groups of people to organize? Isn't this sort of obvious?
Isn't the point that social media is enabling people to organize en masse more easily and effectively than they could before?
If the government wouldn't have been toppled without social media, then yes, social media should be considered a big deal.
Agreed, this is just a stupid flame-bait article. OS X crashes constantly? That must be like when Apple fanbois tell everyone that Windows 7 crashes constantly i.e. they're making it up.
Wouldn't backing down mean that they agreed to offer censored service, rather than losing their license in order (read: leaving the Chinese market) in order to avoid having to censor results?
They have these in China and it's a mess - just as you'd expect, people tend to gun it when they know the light's about to change.
But then traffic there is a mess in general.
I'm not familiar with any European cities that match Asian densities either, but they still have better service.
Anyway, if it were only based on density, India would have the fastest internet in the world.
Well, it's more like this really.
1. 800 million people live in shitholes in the rural countryside where they work backbreaking hours doing manual labor under conditions no Western country has seen in a century.
2. Some of those people go, or send/take their kids, to coastal cities looking...
Not sure what the definition of support is, but when you connect to the wireless network in any GWU facility there's a big link that for Apple users to click that takes them to a VPN client to access the network with. So I'm not really sure what the point of including GWU in this report is.
If it weren't for the fact that this has already been implemented in the real world for years (he's just showing off the XNA game studio used to make XBLA indie games, Windows games and Zune aka Windows Phone games), you'd be absolutely right.
I don't get why this video was highlighted. I can...
It's true that the Office 2004/2008 interface sucks, but they're switching over to the ribbon for this release which should help (if you like the ribbon, which I do).
And yes, OneNote would be really nice...
Just curious - anyone here ever run into a fix for the PS3 red screen of death? The one that just says something to the effect of "A serious error has occurred. Contact technical support." Other than sending it to Sony, I mean....
Yeah, yeah should've gotten the receipt from my friend when I...
Are you retarded? (Yes.)
The question came from someone in Canada. You know, that big country just to the north of the US? The one that has a public health care system? I'm not sure what "communism" has to do with anything.
In actual answer to your question, macigtoaster, it's some...
Keep in mind a lot of this appears to have to do with the GPU side and driving NVidia out of the chipset business. Check out Anand for an actual analysis of the suit.
