Alyx was by far the best VR experience I have had. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any other VR titles that come close.
(That said my headset has lived in a box for the last year so I could be out of touch with the current market.)
They essentially map a floorplan of your house and obstacles at this point. All of which is reported back to hq..... I have no idea what their privacy policy is, I wouldn't be shocked if they are selling that data to someone. Even if they aren't selling it, it's probably not stored securely...
It's hard to believe Corsair isn't using the standard chipset raid controller.
I wonder if there are any goofy BIOS settings that need to be updated? You may just need to reach out to Corsair support at this point.
I did some more digging and it looks like Asus ROG laptops with similar specs use this RAID driver. Their installer has an extract option and it lists the version as 9.3.1.00052 with a release in 2022
Hopefully that helps!
IIRC this is only true after you visit the correct site of grace to unlock torrent. Before that you can't level period, and I don't believe you unlock spirit ashes until you travel back to the first site of grace.
I could be fuzzy on the details but it definitely wasn't intuitive for myself...
A coworker of mine picked up a 3060ti with a heat sink bigger than the ones on some of his 3090s. Stupid thing wouldn't even fit on his mining rack.
It was pretty hilarious.
Souls games give you a rewarding feeling of accomplishment that you just don't get from button mashing your way through modern ARPGs. It's pretty much the only single player genre that still makes me shout "YES!!!! I AM A FREAKING GOD!!!!" after a good boss battle.
I really like Elden Ring, but...
The RAID drivers on the X570 driver page list "Ryzen mobile processor" under supported platforms. https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/x570
The extracted folder says Windows 10 but it's under the Windows 11 driver section so I assume they are the same?
I think a name \ box swap is all people really expected. Naming it a 4080 12gb even though it's not just a 4080 with less RAM is shady AF.
The high pricing sucks but at least people know what they are buying if they choose to buy one.
Same. It looks like I'll be on my FE 3080 for at least one more gen. I was hoping AMD launch would bring the 4080 down to the $800 range over time, but the 4070ti launching at $800 kills that dream lol.
The trend of leaps in performance coming with a corresponding leap in price sort of takes...
Modern builds should be running UEFI 99.9% of the time. If you needed CSM for some reason, you would know it.
I would disable CSM \ Legacy boot entirely to be safe.
I suspect a lot of the laptops and reviews were skimmed from other websites. It would have taken way too much effort to hand write these.
Quick example: John's review here is actually pulled from John in this Walmart listing. The review you saw was probably skimmed from a legit Newegg review...
The domain was only registered a few months ago and all of the laptops are severely under market value. If you search their URL, the only results Google returns are links to their website and your post.
They could would get ~8X the money just putting them on ebay if this was legit. This just...
