Steam deck alternative on the cheap? Like a tablet with a gaming controller?

The Logitech G Cloud was built for this. I don't think they are in production anymore but are fairly affordable on ebay. https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/shop/p/cloud-handheld-gaming.940-000198

Cooler Master Elite 130 Mini iTX Re-Build

Funny, I just pulled the same case out of the closet for a Livingroom Bazzite box a few months ago! Similar handle mod but shoulder strap mounts in my case. I used to run an AC 120 AIO, it barely fit in the front fan mount. I'm sure your GPU is much happier with the extra flow lol. Nice...

Comcast Turns Millions Of Routers Into Motion Sensors - The Same WiFi Signals Can ID You With 99.5% Accuracy

I actually was thinking about a ghetto faraday cage when reading the article lol. The 1.2tb wasn't a problem for a long time, but 300gb AAA game launches add up quick when you have multiple gamers in the house.

Comcast Turns Millions Of Routers Into Motion Sensors - The Same WiFi Signals Can ID You With 99.5% Accuracy

In my case, using the Comcast gateway was the "free" option to avoid their 1.2tb data cap. Otherwise it's an additional $30 a month to get unlimited data. Currently using their gateway in bridge mode. (I assume it's still spying regardless.)

AMD reportedly delays Radeon GPU kit price increase to August, AIB costs to rise at least 10%

The current llm software stacks preferring Nvidia & CUDA is the only thing keeping their cards in check. You can expect them to disappear whenever software catches up. They'll likely go for more than NVidia cards at that point, given the extra vram. There are already work arounds in place for a...

I’ve never been more desperate for a Black Friday deal than this year.

I'm kicking myself for not picking up more of the used 14tb drives when they were ~$100. The sales were so frequent I just assumed they'd always be available.

    Plex pass going up

The want to sell subscriptions for the recurring revenue. The last price hike clearly wasn't substantial enough to deter lifetime pass sales.

Is Anthropic’s New A.I. Really That Scary? It Depends Whom You Ask.

My understanding is that Mythos does a much better job at creating working attack chains (without human involvement) than prior iterations. A big part of the current effectiveness are the free compute resources being provided. Some of these exploits would have cost $10,000+ in tokens according...

No way to disable SATA port in BIOS

I'm not sure I've ever seen it outside of OEM BIOS, particularly business models. Granted, I don't typically search for this option.

Artemis II Astronauts Battle Microsoft Outlook in Space

I'm not sure it's a direct cause, but fun story... Microsoft provided the U.S. government a ton of "free" consulting and technical services to "improve" it's digital security. A large portion of this was migrating to MS services and cloud platforms. Eventually the discounts ended and the...

My Interest in the AMD BC-250, Not for Greed, but for Progress

This is probably the cleanest BC -250 build I've seen! I wish I would have picked one up prior to the price hikes.
