Just cleaned my PC... I'd post pics, but my wire management is embarrassingly bad. Well, that and the fact I didn't put much effort into the cleaning. Still, getting all that dust off the heatsinks reduced temps all around.

With WoW having such a head start (in terms of development time) and the size of their budget, # of developers, etc, I don't really think it's possible to make a WoW killer at this point. Nothing will be able to have at launch the amount of content and refinement that WoW has.

Man, you just saved me a huge headache. I have been getting super high temps for a long time and couldn't figure it out. Used CoreTemp and OverDrive to figure out my mobo heat sensor was kaput. Mobo reads the temp as 10+c under load than what these programs do. Ty ;)

Tried that -refuses to read/write to disks at all. I brought the computer home and and trying to figure out wtf is going on. Plugging both HDDs into another PC and they work just fine. Tried some more cables, wondered if it could be that... This problem is just plain weird. I don't see how...

I never got Shadowrun, and probably don't intend to get it, but the gameplay always sounded appealing to me. Pity the game didn't do so well.

I kind of liked the first one. Only kinda, because it didn't have a fricking map. And I got lost constantly... and after spending 4 hours lost in some damn forest, I uninstalled and never touched it again. That memory is enough to make me hesitate buying this one, even if I know it has a map...

dragon age and sc2 are the only things I am really looking forward to. The year to date has been very mediocre. A couple b+ titles, but nothing special.

Thanks for the responses. Embarassing, but I've never payed attention to HDD temp before... I had the side panel off when I had the cpu heavily overclocked, and during hot summer it would reboot randomly :p

I live in a pretty hot area with no AC. In the past, I just left the side of my PC off... good for temps, but bad for dust. Recently I cleaned everything out, and did some tests to see what temps were doing with the side panel off and on. I let the PC run for about an hour with 3 eve...

lol, developers forced to do PR. I hope they've actually fixed most of the crashes this time. Chrome still crashes a lot for me :\
