    I'm having the same exact problem. Ive been playing BF4 all week with my 7970, no problems, got my 290x yesterday, today i have the black screen hard lock. my 290x isnt clocked and its on uber mode. It's a Sapphire with elpida memory modules.

    This is gonna be my next monitor, gonna use the Samsung S27A950D as a TV, if i think the S27A950D is amazing, this one is gonna blow my mind. BF4 madness!
