Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Does this Crimson version have "flip queue size option (similar to Nvidia's "Maximum Pre-rendered frames")?
I really wish they'd include this option as I don't have to use third-party apps like RadeonPro.
Already done, and the noise is still audible a bit. Only If I put on a headphone and listening to something will completely block the sound.
Yeah, no I'm not ready to spend a huge amount of money on SSD. Not to mention I need those large capacities (1TB and 2TB).
Thanks for the reply...
Hmmm.... So this noise is considered normal? It's the loudest components in my desktop where I can hear it over my case fans and even during when the system is on load.
It's just that I was surprised with the noise due to having somewhat quiet HDDs before (to the point where only my case...
Hello,
Just around two weeks ago, I installed two new WD HDDs (Green 2TB and Blue 1TB) for my desktop in which I can hear constant "computer" noises from those drives.
There are no fluctuation or patterns as the noises stay on the same tone from booting to shutting down. It will happen in any...
Unfortunately EVGA is out of option unless I import it from the states, which I'm not really fond of doing.
I'll just stick with this PSU. The coil whine/noise is bearable due placing the desktop on the bottom of the desk as well as wearing a headphone. I just had enough with RMAs and...
Alright guys I've just installed Corsair RM750i and... Yeah, this one has coil whining/noise as well.
Fortunately, it's a lot more quieter than coil whines from Seasonic and Antek. In terms of noise level, the Corsair's noise is same as my case fans spinning noise whereas Seasonic/Antek was a...
Excuse my ignorance with beta drivers. I'm still stuck with the mindset of using "stable" drivers is the way to go.
That being said, I'll try the latest beta driver (15.10) and see how it goes. I'll report back once tested.
Alright I'll use DDU and reinstall 15.7, see how it goes.
15.7 is the latest "stable" driver available at the moment. Unless you're referring to beta drivers, which I'm not keen on using.
I was using 14.9 on 7950 which, I uninstalled it via control panel (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx#Win7). I didn't use DDU when removing this driver.
Then I replaced the card with 390 and installed Catalyst 15.7.1...
If that's the case then I'd definately try 14.12. It's just that I couldn't find an official page stating it actually supports 390 hence why I'm hesitant to try it.
As for the problem, after upgrading from my 7950 to 390, I sometimes get a black flashing screen as a whole or as a block on...
I'm experiencing a problem with playing videos via media player which, after trying out all the possible solutions I wasn't able to fix it while using the latest "stable" driver (Catalyst 15.7.1)
As such, I was wondering what is the previous stable Catalyst driver for 390? The 14.12 and 14.9...
