Looking into getting a DAC for my Headphones, but not in a hurry atm unless it's a fantastic deal and a very good make. Using a Rega Elicit MKV for my turntable atm, but may play around with it with the PC later on. Thinking about going to a Tube setup as i like the sound.

Ended up getting one. Have an original Amiga 500 so i should be able to use that monitor for it also if i want. Base 64's unit prices on Ebay aren't bad, but anything more than that (Games, monitors, drives, ect) added to the mix drives the price up a lot in a lot of cases.

The dynamic sort of reminds me of the Little Sister/Big Daddy thing in Bioshock somewhat. Also a little bit like Bioshock Infinite but with a lot older companion.

Ordered the 270K on Thursday, and just got it today from Newegg. Currently sold out at Newegg.

Problem with that is that at the time i had trouble getting them to work, and since RAM was cheap at the time i just got the current RAM i have now and put the sticks in a drawer. Not sure if they are good or bad atm.

96GB of Corsair Vengeance 5600 in my main PC atm. 48GB of Corsair Vengeance 9200 CuDimm for my upcoming build. Think i have a few sticks of 32GB DDR5 laying around that i need to see if they work. (Put them in the system but had trouble with configuring them)

Doesn't the 285K (Or the 270K, ect) get better results at 4K when comparing to AMD? Every review shows them beating Intel a lot at lower resolutions but seem to be a lot closer at 4K.

First thing i did when i got to work about 7am was to go on Newegg and see if it was for sale. Was at $319 then and by 10-11am it was up to its current price. But did get it though. (Already had the motherboard for it for a while) Should get it on Tuesday per tracking.

The thing with this is that other companies will most likely do the same thing on this or maybe the next generation cards, so all this is a premium tax on the first adopters who want the latest and greatest. Sure, i'd love to have something like this eventually, but not at a huge markup like...
