Does it exist: 1440x900 19" with IPS panel?
Looking for an IPS-based 19" monitor with 1440x900 resolution so it would be a good match for our U2711's in portrait mode (we already have TN-based ones, they look awful but serve well, I just want to get better ones when I buy new ones)... thanks for the help. -

Anytime, in specific apps. It is funny because it's very old, from circa 2003, I think, around the FireGL->FirePro transition. People post all sorts of things all the time... we use our Quadro+U2711 everywhere due to its 10-bit feature (mostly in Fusion 6.x but it works in 3dsmax 2012 etc.)... -

You clearly have a lot to learn about the point behind having 10-bit in your pipeline. :p Anyone doing professional graphics, compositing (Fusion, Nuke) or even motion graphics can benefit from 10-bit, provided they use DP with an AMD card or a Quadro (GeForce cards lack 10-bit output.) OTOH... -

You mean aside of having a better, modern panel, better lag, better color space, better menus, better features (USB3, daisy-chaining DP etc), 12 vs 14-bit lookup table, far-far better coating? -

2713H, worth the price?
Go with the new one, it's a better product, new (GB-LED vs old CCFL) panel, USB3 (since the card reader also runs on this it can make a lot of difference when you're copying your files in from an UHS-1 SDXC card) etc.
