A layer of abstraction may help in this instance. There are devices out there that can virtually mount ISOs as CD drives. Not all motherboards can support the option, but it's worth a shot if you're out of options.
The Zalman ZE300 is sold on Amazon and supports this function.
I'm not getting any errors in the log.
The Local LAN subnet is 172.16.1.0 /24, Remote LAN1 subnet is 172.16.3.0 /24, and Remote LAN2 subnet is 167.199.177.0 /27. The Local LAN subnet already has an address object claiming the same subnet as Remote LAN1 so Remote LAN1 is being pushed through...
Hello All,
I've got a VPN problem that I'm having trouble correcting. I've got a situation where I need access to multiple subnets across the same VPN tunnel.
The SonicWall I'm connecting to has two disparate subnets
Remote SonicWall
Subnet 1: 167.197.197.0 /27
Subnet 2: 172.16.3.0...
I'll give that a shot when I get home.
The issue with dd-wrt was what I was afraid of. The last device I tried dd-wrt on provided a horrible experience even though it was listed as compatible and didn't note any issues in the wiki.
I was allowing the Netgear to handle the DHCP assignments; the DHCP server was disabled on the SonicWall.
When that failed, I toyed around with the idea of having DHCP enabled on both with different ranges for each (Just taking a shot in the dark at this point).
That was my initial attempt and no other devices on the LAN ports of the Netgear received Internet connectivity. Internet connectivity wasn't passed along via wifi connections either.
First Attempt:
Cable Modem -> SonicWall WAN
Sonicwall LAN -> Netgear LAN
Other Devices -> Netgear LAN
Hello All,
I'm in a bit of a predicament. Trying to set up a Netgear WNDR3700 behind a SonicWall TZ170 SP (Standard OS). The only thing I really want the SonicWall to do is maintain site-to-site VPN connections to a few other networks that I work with.
The SonicWall WAN is passing...
The beauty of 7 isn't some revolutionary feature that makes all the difference in the world; there are a ton of small, evolutionary measures that have been taken to improve the usability of the operating system. That is why the vast majority of the people who praise it on forums like these do...
There seem to be a lot of people in here that are already in the industry so I'm curious to know their opinions on the subject.
I'm a dual major (Information Systems - Enterprise Resource Planning) (Management).
The problem is that it has become obvious that the degree, while somewhat...
I'm not sure if the idea has been thrown around amongst those of you who lead this site but you might want to set up a netbook head to head in the future (If it hasn't been done already; I just got back to [H]).
If you would want impressions from users, I'm sure that plenty of them would be...
Problem solved. It worked when I wired things properly and power cycled everything.
The thing that threw me off was that internet would work randomly (As it did earlier) when it wasn't wired correctly (Without the need to power cycle). The internet was working with those configurations I...
That is it.
There are only five ports on the back of the WRT54GS. One is labeled "Internet" and the rest are numbered 1-4. When the ethernet cable from the router is plugged into the "Internet" port, the internet fails no matter what (Wired or wireless).
I just disabled STP and now the internet is being transmitted wirelessly as well.
*edit*
But now that wireless internet is being transmitted, my IPs have changed drastically and I can no longer access the router. The router IP no longer works.
