Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a poor quality photo but no convenient web location to post it (and don't want to create one).
I will email to you if you want to PM me an email address.
I flanked the ZR30w with two ZR22w's in portrait because all of the 1600x1200 monitors seems to be old, costly and power hungry. I've got extra pixels on the bottom of the ZR22w's, but that's Ok with me, and the DPI is a -very- close match. However, this is for s/w development, and not for...
Additional messages have been posted to the thread on the ASUS forum. It seems pretty clear that the P8B WS BIOS needs to be modified to include ECC information in the DMI data that is presented to the Operating System. My -guess- is that it IS performing correction, but needs to communicate...
Sorry for the delay in responding. These systems have been "buttoned up" and burned-in for several days, and also I don't have any NON-ECC memory handy ... so I'm not likely to be able to perform the tests you requested.
However, my GUESS is that there wouldn't be any difference. I suspect...
Actually, I think it is a 4:3 aspect ratio (1600 x 1200) that is typically deployed for what you want ... If I am inferring correctly ... A 16:10 at 20" would either have the wrong number of vertical pixels (in portrait orientation), or the wrong pixel pitch - I think ...
Yes, 1600 x 1200 would be ideal, but is very hard to find in any newer panels.
I settled on using HP ZR22W monitors on the sides. The dot pitch between the two is pretty close 0.25 (101 ppi) versus 0.2475 (96 ppi). However, watch out for the wide gamut on the HP ZR30W, which may require...
