the reserator might get you decent temps, but they usually corrode, i would stay away from anything zalman in the water cooling business, so yes, you would be better off piecing together your own system
well, i know off the top of my head, that a dtek v2 cpu block costs around 60 dollars, i think the gpu blocks are also around there, so 180 dollars on blocks, i know newegg sells an mcp 655 or something like that for around 50 dollars, so 230 dollars so far, a micro res from swiftech is 25...
i would think the 350 would corrode even with the nickel, and i think that zalman makes blocks out of aluminum(not sure the blocks might be mixed metals)
