Nvidia Drivers 460.79 Cyberpunk 2077 drivers

I'm getting Event Id 4101, aka TLER with these drivers. Random screen blackouts, and even reboots. Rolling back to 457.30.

NVIDIA Bans Reviewer for Concentrating on Rasterization Instead of Ray Tracing

Not focusing on RT is one thing, but I couldn't help but feel perplexed that they are waiting for another video to discuss DLSS performance on Nvidia cards. Who in their right mind would not use DLSS 2.0? It's free performance and does not impact image quality.

    New Build Issues...

My instinct would be to try another display and see if you can reproduce the same problem. I would also try another DVI cable. I had blackout problems with my monitor and going to a dual-link DVI cable helped.

    i5 2500k burnt?

if it was only your cpu, your board would still give an error code ("cpu init", etc.). check the socket for burn marks. If your chip was heavily overclocked and making bad contact in the socket, it can cause such a problem. Obviously if your board doesn't even spin the case fans it's likely...

    New higher-end build

A high end build deserves a high end case. A quality case will last for more than one build and end up being the most useful investment you make. I recommend Lian-Li or Silverstone.

Strange issue with my newish system.

Auto overclocking on 1155 platforms is a well documented issue with Asus boards. Once you play with any values, your system gets overclocked. My 2600k is forced to 3.8GHz on my Asus board because I wanted to enable the XMP profile for my memory.

ASUS GeForce GTX 680 DirectCU II TOP GPU Review @ [H]

As nice as this card is, I feel that the reference design is the better choice for the average user. I have a 560ti by Asus with a similar cooling design (reference design 560s are almost nonexistent), and it dumps a lot of heat in the case. A reference cooler would have been better for me...

Mistake getting the Galaxy Nexus right now?

pentile is not crap at 200ppi... unless you stare at your phone screen an inch away from your face. google phones will always be a step behind since they are usually the first of their kind (i.e. OS) but the tradeoff of getting a unadulterated android experience is worth it.

    GeForce GTX 680 3-Way SLI & Radeon 7970 Tri-Fire Review @ [H]

It would be so cool if [H] was allowed to go into either the AMD or Nvidia offices and visit the staff in charge of writing the drivers. They could perhaps show us some of their testing setups and how they go about squashing bugs. Kind of like your Global Foundries visit, just more up close...

    Seasonic High Voltage Lucky Draw

I have 4 different Seasonic manufactured (corsair branded) power supplies running currently, some for nearly 5 years and not a single problem! :) Seasonic is easily the best in making reliable power supplies.

Corsair Individual Sleeved Modular PSU Cables - Now Available

Wish they had these offered when I originally bought my AX850. Also, how much longer until they just bring out special edition units that come pre-sleeved like this?

    FS: i7 970, ASUS Rampage III Formula, 12GB DDR3 1600, Corsair H50, Two XFX 6950 2GB

I guess this means my rig is obsolete? :( You have nearly the same rig as me. And such a great price for such awesome hardware :)

AMD Radeon HD 7970 Video Card Review @ [H]

So the rumour of a 256-bit XDR2 2GB version was false? Or is that exclusive to the 7990? 2 X 2GB for 4GB total?
