Hi,
Are you experiencing any 'image retention', 'ghosting', or 'backlight bleed' issues with your monitor? How about (any noticeable) 'input lag'?
I'm also curious if the audio selection can be 'fixed' to a specific HDMI / DP input? My Philips BDM4065UC monitor is very frustrating in that the...

Has anyone here tested plugging in a (4K) DisplayPort monitor into the Type-C/Thunderbolt port using an adapter ? (or dock for that matter?)
Any feedback much appreciated! -JT

Not really - only if the warranty issue was related to the 'holes' in question. These holes don't even come close to any sensitive electronics - and the screws don't penetrate beyond the chassis's inner surface.
For Philips BDM4065UC owners that really miss having convenient side-mounted USB 3.0 ports on their monitor, there is hope!
Shown here is a recent mod I performed on this monitor to bring dual super-sturdy high-quality USB3 ports mounted to the lower left side of the monitor. These ports are...
MANY THANKS MICAEL! Simply moving the joystick right (WRT facing the panel) did the trick.
I've now successfully disabled the boot logo thx to you! :) :) :)

Thanks for posting this - and a couple of Qs: :)
Is there a displayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapter/cable that would work with this monitor's inputs?
Does this UN40JU6700 have square (1:1) pixels? Or are they horizontally stretched like the Philips?
Will this monitor properly go into a low-power...
Yes, the Innovative 7000 arm is fully height adjustable with a pneumatic air-damped mechanism, so the monitor could be lowered down to be flush with the desk (or raised higher for demonstration purposes). I raised it up for the photo to show the desk mount. :)
Hi Folks,
Just wanted to offer some insight and clarity on this monitor for anyone in USA considering purchasing on eBay and/or purchasing a SquareTrade Warranty.
On 04-March I purchased a new BDM4065UC from Korean eBay seller eTradekorea at this link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261698098006...
FYI, a 53 inch 5K monitor (5120x2880) would have the same 111 PPI density as this Philips. I'm hoping for this (curved) for my next upgrade after 4K/40inch! :)
Looks like this monitor/display has a 'Semi-Gloss' anti-reflective coating on it - same as the Philips. I was kind of hoping for a 'Matte' finish on this for up-close viewing and to minimize reflections. :(
