Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Last time I went up to the mountain I saw drone flying around. It was very loud and it felt like I was being spied on. I'm generally pro freedom but I'm not really a fan of drones. I can see them causing problems if their use becomes more prevalent.
How much of a boost is Skylake? With the motherboard/cpu combo at microcenter it will be like 320$ or so for 6600k + motherboard. I think I will stretch the budget out to add another 100$ to it. It seems like 500-700 may be cutting corners a bit too much. Thanks for the info so far.
I'm going to upgrade my computer and pass my old one down to family member. My budget is a little bit flexible I have 500 and can convince them to spend a bit. So if something is a big upgrade and goes over budget that's okay. I use my computer for gaming/programming/ect.. Nothing really special...
Well the whole PC experience encompasses more than just the PC guts. There's your chair, table, table arrangements (maybe a monitor arm, wiring arrangements) and so forth. So I was wondering, what would be your favorite PC related part or detail that changed your computing experience?
I have a pair of behringer 2030P speakers. I was considering adding a subwoofer to them. What would be a good recommendation in the 200$ or so price range? This is for PC use with a cheap receiver (was around 100-150 dollar range) (for movies, games, TV, music, ect. general use)
