I play at 1280 x 1020 on my lcd monitor so it shouldn't hurt my fps too badly on most games. As for my budget I tend to go for anything thats a bargain and I buy my cards from newegg only.
So my 1950 Pro ultimate died after over a year of working perfectly, I still have the zalman cooling system and game it came with so it's not a total loss
I'm thinking of buying this card to replace it GIGABYTE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB since it costs $70 after the rebate and comes with a zalman...
Need some help picking a monitor for gaming, but I'm thinking of going with a tv monitor since the display is bigger and has lower resolutions so my vid card won't take such a beating.
So far I've managed to find a Westinghouse 32" LCD HDTV 1080i - Refurbished for $500
Thinking of...
Well I decided to check again if it was truly dead and when I pushed the power button everything lit up and has been working perfectly for 8 hours.
Why would it shut down and not want to power up again, did it overheat?
Thanks for the help:)
So I am playing Stalker and I go to the kitchen for a drink for a minute, when I come back my PC is off. I watch t.v. for a while and then try to turn it on but it doesn't do anything, I check to see if any of the mobo's lights are on but they aren't, so I figure something is wrong here and I am...
Will the XCLIO 450 be enough to power a ATI 1950Pro, and if it does how would it better to connect it by two 4 pin molex to PCIE or should I just connect it directly to the PCIE of the psu.
Any suggestions are welcomed :)
I currently have the same dilemma and am strongly leaning toward the SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950PRO since it has the convenience of having the Zalman heatsink pre-installed and comes with the free game Just Cause. This will be my first ATI card and I am wondering just how good a company sapphire is in...
Hello I will be building a new Linux machine and was wandering if this RAM was any good http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820211012.
Any info will be appreciated :)
I thought the Ultras where listed as a bad PSU in the PSU buying guide, and I don't trust rebates except for e-rebates. I find it very suspicious that they are just giving them away for free ;) .
I think ill stick with the FSP
I thought the 26 amps where for just the video card since they don't know what other equipment you might be powering , he still might need something more powerful then what Corsair has to offer.
That seasonic is very nice and he would be saving some money, but he'd have to give up...
Like BBK said don't buy the XCLIO, at these power ratings you need a quality PSU.
As far as 8800gts SLI goes, one 8800gts requires 400 watts and 26 amps so SLI should be 800 watts and 52 amps, the seasonic has maximum 56 amps and corsair has 50 amps so you'd be pushin it close, any power...
