Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the replies!
Unfortunately, this router doesn't have an "Auto" Channel, so I'll try switching that to 1 or a different channel and see if it makes a difference. I'd like to stay away from the non-broadcasting MAC filter method but I'm willing to try anything and it sounds like it may...
To start, I have a Netgear WGR614v6 router with the "latest" firmware 2.0.19_1.0.19 from May 8, 2007.. it's a little dated.
I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever when it comes to wired connections (4 PCs connected throughout the house). The problems I'm having are all related to the...
I started seeing somewhat political ads a few weeks ago, but there's just one problem. All the ones I've seen have titles like "AMERICAN IDOL TOP 20" and the screen caps are always of women in bathing suits or what have you. I curiously click to see which episode that was from :p only to find...
Yeah, games running faster than they should on a dual core machine is sadly not uncommon for older games. There are many methods of to resolve this, the easiest being, alt-tab out of the game, press ctrl-alt-delete, right click the process (hl.exe ?), click Set Affinity..., and uncheck CPU 1...
When I saw that first finished pic my jaw dropped to the floor  . I am really surprised at how much lighting plays a unique role in your setup. Light enough to work in, dark enough to game in, simply brilliant. :D
What I find most retarded is the fact the in order to get this to work you have to download a hack and pretty much alter the way the game was meant to be played. If GTA is getting all this shit, why doesn't DoA: Extreme Beach Volleyball get an AO rating, because you can just as easily download a...
My sister wanted a new computer and didn't know a lot about companies and such, so she ended up buying a Pentium 4 3.2 ghz chip in a standard intel board. The machine has given me nothing but problems since the beginning. 3 different windows installations (IE on one, FireFox on 2) on 3 different...
My friend purchased a Samsung 710n LCD monitor, and I noticed as he took it out of the box that it uses a VGA connector. I thought all LCDs used DVI? Anyways, after we hooked up his new computer, I saw one of the most crisp, clean displays, beautiful contrast, no ghosting in games, and just...
I'm a slave to my dual monitors, and I do what you do too. Unfortunately, most games will minimize when you click off of them or alt-tab out of them. I've never found a way around it, and only in rare instances (quake 3 in a window) can I get my games not to minimize when I click off..
Just built a system for my friend last night, it's up and overclocked and stable and great. Ran into a little error in reporting I guess? He has a DFI LanParty UT nf4 Ultra-D, a A64 3200+ Venice, and a gig of Geil ram (2x512). In CPU-Z, on the Memory page, it reports at the top that there is...
:p :p
I generally tend to run games at 1280 x 1024 or higher, some even at 1600x1200.. At that resolution I barely noticed a difference with AA/AF on than off when I was testing it out when this card was new  I run 800x600 because my graphics card chokes at any higher than...
