Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It certainly wasn't like this when my and your team competed against each other last year. How did it get to this stage? team hopping to deny another team its rightful points. Its all looking rather ugly and dirty from a spectator's point of view, certainly not cricket.
There are 6 sprints left including this one and over twice as many projects on the list.
He could have chosen primegrid, universe, cosmology, Enigma, CSG or GPUGrid .. instead he opted for this :facepalm:
There is a NUMA assignment problem with Windows and BOINC with machines over 64 threads. Sometimes the problem occurs immediately, sometimes after the initial work units complete. The work units don't get assigned evenly over multiple procs. I have a 2p machine and I've seen every single BOINC...
I really wish you guys would get involved. Last year was one of the most fun years we've (OcUK) had as a team. We were in league 2 and had a great scrap with TSBT, it tailed off towards the end of the year but on the whole it was thoroughly enjoyable. We won league 2 but were demoted to league 3...
My samsung Android phone runs the the subset CSG subproject but says no work for DNA, but the project didn't appear in the project list, I had to add the URL manually.
You can alter the 90% charge in the advance preferences and also allow it to run off the battery so you don't need the charger...
If I may suggest, one possible solution would be if Razor changes your Einstein team name to [H]ard|OCP, that way you could issue a challenge yourself on Boincstats but he would still remain the actual team founder.
EDIT: Forget that, just checked on Einstein, you already have another team...
You can run multiple AMD cards no problem, it's just Nvidia cards that have the issue, it's been like that for years, same with the trickle of work poem gives out, to keep your work topped up (maximum of 100 work units) you need to spam the work server manually or automatically with Boinc...
Sorry if I've misunderstood you here Gil, but just to be clear, you can enter or make a boincstats team challenge on behalf of [H]ard|OCP for *any* Boinc project, you don't have to be the actual team founder.
Boincstats says you are the team founder so you should be able to, as I said before sign into boincstats and look at the top left hand menu for "team founder". It looks like Razor hasn't signed up at Boincstats so that's why you're the team founder.
EDIT: Glad you got it sorted :)
I don't know if you are aware of this Gil but only the team captain can enter his/her team into a boincstats team challenge. The team captain is considered to be founder of the most amount of boinc projects, which according to boincstats is you for [H] :)
If you log on to boincstats you'll see...
With regards to the bug in the PRP client/PSP server where the fields are mixed up, I believe I've worked out what needs to go where.
In the master_prpclient.ini ....
email= <enter machineid>
userid= <enter email address>
machineid= <enter userid>
This is for just the newer clients...
server=PSPfp:100:1:www.psp-project.de:8100
server=PSPdc:0:1:www.psp-project.de:8101
You can change the set up of these servers, each server gives out different work, the top one is fp (first pass) work, these take the longest to complete, around 3-4 days on my 3770K and currently give around...
