Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Around $250 for me. On a i7 2600 right now. I heard moving to a 7700k would be a noticeable performance improvement.
I found a couple 7700k's for $249 off buildapcsales (the subreddit), however, they were open box, and only happen 1-3 times a month. So a steady $250 from a good retailer would...
Eh.. kind of sad but just hope the new boards are not that expensive. I'm on a i7 2600 and willing to upgrade. Have no problems personally since I have to buy a new mobo anyway I guess, lol
Hey everyone.
So basically, I upgraded from a FX 6300 about 2 months ago, to a i7 2600. Purchased her off ebay for $100, and $35 for a new mobo. The performance in the Godot game engine was insane. Previewing scenes went from around 700ms to sub 100-150ms. The performance was night and day...
I agree with this, 100%. I just don't like how people subtly and passive aggressively throw W7 users under the bus. There is no need for that. People know that W10 is out there and an option.
Yes, look at Shintai's post above: "They need to face reality and move on.". That's a pretty subtle way of undermining and throwing W7 users under the bus for no reason.
But you still have not explained to me how it's okay to install 3rd party apps just to get the same UX? Ofcourse, modifying...
I'd rather miss out on negligible "W7 CPU compatibility" gains than be fed bullshit propaganda notification pop-ups, all while my OS is fed ads for its entire life.
