Yeah, I wouldn't like it. Prefer to own my things and have it available offline. And use it whenever I want, even if it is 20 years after I bought it :)

Have no idea, that sounds good though. A future scenario could be that you pay per hour you play something. Maybe login to a server through a web browser and then just start your particular game :)

:) Many people are playing iRacing, it is very popular. If MS where to suddenly switch to a subscription based MSFS I think it would still attract many people. At least those real fliers, not occasional fliers like myself :)

Cool! Yes it looks like the "gaming" part will be expanded to include more than just flying. Rescue people and so on. Maybe go from control tower and embark your plane? :) There is already a camping add-on which looks awesome and you can build your camping site. In 2024 you can even walk around...
