I own Asus Z87-Plus motherboard.
Is there a hotkey that can be pressed during the boot sequence that will bring up a list to pick a device to boot from? All I see is Del and F2 to get in the BIOS, then within a BIOS I can select device under Boot menu. But in my Lenovo desktop I can press F12...
The problem with that is that for Win 2003 you need Windows XP network driver for this card. The driver package I used in my other post (guide linked above) doesn't contain such driver - the oldest OS supported is Windows 7.
I used to do software development in the field of 3D graphics and may want to dabble in it again. Also interested in using GPU for high performance calculations.
This is why: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/643065/geforce-drivers/official-nvidia-331-82-whql-display-driver-feedback-thread-released-11-19-13-/2/
My build:
Intel i7-4770 CPU with stock cooler (not overclocked)
Asus Z87-Plus motherboard
Asus GTX650TIB-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST graphics card
32 GB of Kingston KHX16C9P1K2/16 RAM (4x8GB) - from Asus compatibility list for this motherboard
2x2TB internal hard drives - WD Caviar...
I have Z87-Plus, not WS. I also run Win7 x64.

That being said I connected optical output to my receiver and it output DD 5.1 for Blu-Rays. It does have DD on another tab:
There is also separate Realtek Audio Manager in Control Panel but it has the same options as standard Windows Dialog.
I think the 4670K CPU is overkill for what you want, especially if you don't intend to overclock. But then again the cheapest Haswell CPU (4570) is $190 and 4670K is $240, so you wouldn't be saving all that much.
I have different motherboard (Asus Z87-Plus) and CPU (i7-4770) and Asus GTX 650 TI Boost graphics. I tried using Intel HD Graphics and discrete graphics at the same time and it works but after running some graphics benchmarks I had some flickering until I rebooted (I haven't used them together...
Could your lack of choice be due to picking Mini ITX form factor? Micro ATX seems to be much more popular. This is from NewEgg for 1150 socket:
ATX (50)
Extended ATX (2)
Micro ATX (33)
Mini ITX (5)
XL ATX (1)
