    In theory it should be safe if you get a newer batch, but who knows. For what it's worth, when I contacted Alpenfohn, they told me that it was 1 in 10 that had issues (which they stated as only causing a difference of 2-3C), way higher than the 1 in 100 that Overclockers UK stated above.

    I'm impressed then that you were able to bend the PSU wires to actually connect to the HDDs in the cage. They're right-angle connectors and they're in the wrong direction (and too stiff) so despite my best efforts I wasn't able to make it work that way.
