Uh how was I supposed to know a thread about fw900 was current? It's true I was brought by that thread, but the page I landed on wasn't current. Are we only allowed one lcd and one oled thread too? I'm not talking about the fw900 so why would I post on there?

It's smoother. It adds what looks like aliasing to the image but 160hz with crt smoothnes is still very nice feeling. I'd also argue that 1440i @160hz is preferable to 720p@160hz if I am wanting the most refreshes. It's not defacto better than say 1600x1200@100hz it just depends if I want to...

Got a crt that can do 1600x1200@100hz. Gets a bit blurry at the higher bandwidths but it looks really good. I find 1660x1245@70hz, combined with nvidias 4x super resolution makes it look Bonafide insane. Although with the advent of dlaa the supersampling isn't very necessary. Get a very pleasing...
