Dillusion, I am on the fence betwen an opty 146 or an opty 165 right now.
Got a 3200 venice a65 right now at 255 like a rock.
this bio board will do insane things, and i really do believe you have to get "lucky" with a chip that was from a good batch... stepping code wise and mem...
serge - sp you removed the stock hs from the nb chipset and replaced with a fancy video card cooler? like a big ole zalman or something?
what about the onboard video sink? did you replace that and go active as well?
I thnk my current limit is the mem controller on my cpu and not...
I use onboard video, no probs whatsoever, even with mega low memory timings.
What is a fair price to ask for a used (12 day old) A64 3200+ Venice s939 that will do 2.6Ghz?
Ive fired off emails and asked that they add more vcore stepping to BIOS. I've also told them that the reportings are not quite accurate.

144 is x9, 146 is x10 and 148 is x11
this bio board only goes to x10 for multi, so if I bought a 146 i'd be fine. however, im thinkin of getting a 148. what would end up...

why your 3500 wont do past 2500 is beyond me.. but it aint the board.
foxconn?! OK. lol.

Here's my current situation. I'm at 263FSB x 10. I bought 2x512 Patriot XBL memory and the shit ROCKS.
I have my memory on a 1:1 so its also running at 263 with 2.5 -3-3-7 1T. MUCH MUCH Better than geil value memory for sure, well worth the extra $50 for the ram upgrade. Running memory at...
