Moving up from 8800GT 512mb, one catch...
That sucks, I knew it was hard to find passive cards. I'm not really gung-ho about watercooling yet. Though I could set it up in my case (p182). Moving up from 8800GT 512mb, one catch...
I'm planning on moving up from my 8800GT 512 (passing it down to my cousin). Of course there is a catch, I modded the card with the Accelero S1 passive cooler. I run a pretty "silent" computer and I intend to keep it that way. Are there any newer (better) cards that will run 1920x1200 game...- Jhonka

GTX260 sound... how bad/good is it?
Anyone else have the GTX260 and notice if it's loud/quiet? I'm planning to upgrade from my 8800GT w/ an Accelero S1 (the evga reference cooler wasn't bad though at <30%). I just want to keep my rig as close to silent as I can with a GTX260 since I have it on almost 24/7.- Jhonka

Like what everyone has been saying, the Westinghouse is on clearance at BestBuy for $329. Try to find one if you can. If you can, try to find the LG246WP at Circuit City for $277 or it might be on clearance at BestBuy in the $300-400 range (if it's still there). I went with the LG, loving it... -

Monitor for gaming and CAD work?
I have my system built (E8400, 2gb RAM, 8800GT 512mb) but I'm still working on a 17" CRT (compaq FS740!!) I'm looking to get a 22 or 24", but I don't want a TN panel unless it really comes down to it because I will be doing mostly CAD work and maybe light photoshop/illustrator. But hopefully...
