    Please do so. I only have the use of three sata hard drives (2 x 36GB WD Raptors in RAID 0 and 1 x 500GB WD), so the second bay would be totally useless to me.

    Oh, I almost forgot. I was looking closely at the available pictures for the PC-V1000Z and it does not look like we would be able to remove the hot-swappable bays without destroying bits of the case. It looks like it is both screwed and riveted into the case.

    I wonder if someone could make a 3rd party icepack for the VelociRaptor, or how the drive would perform without an icepack. Then a simple mount can be made to hold the bare drive into the proper position for the hot-swappable bays.
