Simple question: Is it not such a good idea to plug a 120mm fan (powerful or otherwise) onto the 3-pin connectors on the motherboard? Several people have told me that it's the best way to go if you want a dead motherboard.

Right on. I may just go for the DS3L, if it does have about the same overclockability as the DS3R. Any other opinions out there on this?

I apologize in advance, because I'm sure this has been asked before, but I haven't been able to dig up a solid answer for this. I don't plan on running RAID, but I do certainly plan to overclock. I've been told that the DS3R has better overclockability by people, but how true is that? I'd rather...
