    Samsung XL2370

Been contemplating b/w LG W2486L and this model. Sucks I can't find any Canadian stores that sell either but j/r.com says coming soon, so I'm waiting on that as well. If anyone got a hold of W2486L feel free to post some opinions about it. Having owned 5 LG monitors myself I doubt I will be...

    Dell G2410 vs Samsung XL2370

Not a very informative or helpful answer. Answers like this tell me more about the poster than the subject I'm actually interested in. Simply stating go w/ A w/o any reason is hardly gonna persuade me otherwise.

    Dell G2410 vs Samsung XL2370

Anyone own both yet? I'm in for a LED backlit monitor since it's supposed to have better images than traditional CCFL lit LCDs and last longer so been contemplating b/w the 2. I did some google search but I haven't found much toe-to-toe comparison other than the data from digitalversus.com...

    Dell U2410

Flaunting? Who's flaunting? B/c someone's review is drastically different from someone and his buddies' here make it flaunting? WOW. Oh and I'm sincerely sorry for calling someone being anal. I didn't know he was suffering all this time. Maybe what I should have said was, "someone's crying about...

    Dell U2410

Well, 1st off I never explicitly said it does not exist and 2nd, "No tint, dithering or any other issues raised by others." DOES NOT necessarily imply it does not exist either. Why should it? Maybe I wasn't clear but when I said, "No tint, dithering or any other issues raised by others." I...

    w/o a doubt. :D

    Dell U2410

I made neither indication nor reference pertaining to the idea that all U2410s inherit tint symptoms. Let me quote what I said: What I did imply however was he appears to suggest all U2410s suffer from dithering in sRGB/Adobe RGB mode and hence is an issue. Even if it is always there due to...

    Dell U2410

You and I stand on very different grounds. You're trying to generalize all U2410s have some sort of issues, but should I care? Certainly not. Why not? B/c I don't experience any of those. I paid sub-900 bucks for mine which is a lot here in Canada and I have been as picky as I could be to fault...

Mine's also made in Mexico. No tint, dithering or any other issues raised by others.

    The best AirCooling avaliable?

I've used both True rev B and Mega. Mega wins by a good margin. True and IFX-14 are known to have some non-flat base issues whereas Mega does not. I'd suggest getting a Mega but True also works. Get Rev C if you do happen to go w/ True. The mounting system on True 1st and rev B is pretty lousy...

Image retention on my Dell 3007 LCD?

Well if that's true then what I said isn't completely correct. I haven't seen permanent IR in LCD so far yet. Interesting statement though, do you have articles related to PIR on LCD I can read up on?

Image retention on my Dell 3007 LCD?

Yep, the urban legend that LCDs cannot suffer from IR is misleading. It can happen if you're not careful w/ it, it is just that the images aren't permanent like CRTs. Pixels can attain memory if you leave them on projecting a static image for an extended period of time. Once it happens, there's...

    Are LG Computer Monitors Good?

As an average user that isn't very critical of many issues commonly associated w/ LCD technology, I'd say LG makes excellent monitors. I myself own 5 LG displays and have been a happy customer.
