Because of the panel, when cutting the panel in manufactory, the wide screen panel cutting left more than a normal panel. So the cost is lower than non-WS.

Professional players will definitely keep away from LCD for a match...most of the high level players will also notice the response time lag...but if you just play for fun, i mean not care about the frag much...then probably is no problem....BTW, you could goto see the LCD in shop to feel it...

Never has experience of testing such an expensive monster LCD..

It's because the size of Bluray is bigger than HD, so it can put the 1080p while the HD only can take 1080i for a movie on 1 disc.

LCD don't need high hz....it's totally different principle from the CRT which is picture the whole screen verticlly one frame by one...
