Be careful. I did some looking at those, and I don't believe the 6400 is equivalent to the 6500. The 6400 does not do 4:4:4 chroma at 60 Hz. So text will probably look bad if you use it as a monitor. Since Samsung has a 640D and a 650D, that seem to parallel the 6400 and 6500, I would guess...

My wife's computer is having the same problem. It's a MSI Z97 PC Mate with Pentium G3258 running Windows 7. I ended up just installing a fresh Windows 7 on another drive, and since it's a fresh install she's migrating to Windows 10. Might as well.

Smaller is better because even the best laptops aren't that great for gaming. And you can't bolt a desktop to the back of a TV (and have it look nice).
